"EL PAGANO"
A few years ago, while on vacation in Chile- I tried to make a short film. I did a lot of tests with my main actor who is my uncle. The film never got beyond the testing stage. It was a lame idea- kind of a mix between Zatoichi and what ever props we could find in the backyard. It was fun goofing around.
I am putting this up as a video response to the trailer that my friend "Rhode Montijo" posted on his blog. I found it funny how similar some of our shots are. Link. Rhode has way better costume design with his main character.
Enjoy the trailer.

...looks good man. What program are you using for editing? Love the shots towards the end. Your friend does have you on the costume design...

Good to see im not the only one working at this.
Dave- nice. Yeah- I was using imovie. It was edited that night after filming to see what we got. I made the fake trailer with all the titles to keep people interested because they were working for free.
I wouldnt say I am working at this. I was just having fun screwing around with a camera.

The opening angle with those cockeyed telephone poles is great.
Si vuelvo a venezuela tendre que hacer la mia!
EL ANDINO
Ryan- thanks man- I had this dog come out from no where and push at me while I shot that stuff on the tracks. Hard to keep it steady- we were rushing to get the shots done before the sun went down.
Ziritt- good luck with your film- I cant wait to see the trailer.
